Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber of Commerce

With the formation of the Southern Staffordshire Chamber in 2001, a distinct Lichfield Chamber of Commerce was established alongside the already strong Tamworth Chamber. Given the economic synergies between Tamworth and Lichfield, the Chambers have always worked closely to support member interests. In 2005 the two Chambers formally merged and now represent a combined membership of businesses. Now that Tamworth & Lichfield is part of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Group, our members will benefit from the resources and strong regional voice which this partnership brings.

Our partnership will give members the opportunity to get involved on the wider regional stage whilst promoting and championing the economic needs of Lichfield and Tamworth. For example, we will be looking to play an active role in the debate around Local Enterprise Partnerships, as introduced by the new government. I would encourage all members to take the opportunity to explore how they can maximise their Chamber membership by getting involved, whether on a local or regional basis.
