Swine flu - Is your business prepared?

It is always good practice for businesses to assess risks and prepare for emergencies. Whether or not the UK swine flu situation worsens, we advise our members to consider what they would do in the event of a pandemic. Thinking through the risks and the preventative/corrective actions you would take is as relevant to swine flu as to any other business emergency. Develop and test an appropriate business continuity plan to consider and address different scenarios (e.g. what if 30% of my workforce was unfit to work for a period of time?)

Here at the Chamber, we have adapted our Business Continuity Plan to cater for any pandemic that may cause a loss of a large proportion of our work force. Click here to view and make use of our pandemic related recovery procedures.
